Fort McMurray is host to numerous dog sport fanatics! At MacKenzie Boarding Kennels, we encourage a healthy active lifestyle for both you and your dog while providing a safe and controlled space to do it. With over 15 years in the sport, we are sure to make your training experience both memorable and enjoyable!

  • BEGINS: May 2026

    CLASSES WILL BEGIN THE WEEK OF MAY 11, 2026 and will operate on tuesdays and thursdays at 6:15 pm

    PLEASE NOTE: ALL DOGS FROM LEVEL 1 MUST HAVE BASIC OBEDIENCE AND MUST NOT BE REACTIVE TO OTHER PEOPLE OR DOGS. CONTACT US FOR MORE DETAILS.

    Comfortable with obstacles: jumps, hoops, barrels, contact equipment, tunnels, weaves with gates. Solid grasp of start line commands. Use of mark bucket. Introduction of directional commands (here, switch). Comfortable with short sequences of obstacles (up to 4).

  • BEGINS: The week of May 11, 2026

    CLASSES RUN EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY AT 7:30 PM INSTRUCTED BY RANDY AND DAVE

    level 2 focuses on the Ability to complete 6 weaves without gates. Commitment to obstacles. Successful handling of contact obstacles (e.g. bottom) . Introduction to distance commands (out, go etc.). Introduction to wraps, discriminations. Ability to complete Intro-type courses, introduction to Novice-type courses. Solid understanding of here and switch.

Agility Field Rental.

Members receive an exclusive field rental rate of $20.00/hr to train.

Non-Members pay $50.00/hr to train.

Equipment rental.

MEMBERS MAY RENT FIELD EQUIPMENT AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

NON-MEMBERS PAY $10.00 PER PIECE OF EQUIPMENT PER WEEK.

MACKENZIE KENNELS IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT. MEMBERS WILL RECEIVE PRIORITY REGISTRATION FOR AGILITY/CANINE SPORT SEMINARS WHILE ALSO RECEIVING A REDUCTION IN REGISTRATION FEES UP TO 20%.
